Goodbye to an old friend…
This month, we are sad to say goodbye to one of the longest serving members of the CR Windows team. Our Sales Manager, Alastair Devey has retired after a fantastic 29 years of loyal service.
We are sure that there are many of our customers, who have met Alastair over the years, and would agree that the best way to describe him would be as a true old fashioned gentleman. He has forged many personal relationships with customers over the years, and recommendations from those people hve resulted in him selling various CR Windows products to their family members, neighbours and friends. One particular customer has moved house a total of 9 times, and each time they have moved, they have called upon Alastair to quote, and install windows and doors to each property.
Our Managing Director, Mr Brown talks about how rare it now is for people to stay with one company for so many years. He says that as a company and more to him personally they considered themselves to be very fortunate to have had Alastair in their employment for such a length of time. For Mark, Alastair was ‘Mr CR Windows’, both in what he stood for and how he presented himself and represented the company. Everyone who came in contact with Alastair were left impressed with his manners and his work ethic
We know that Alastair is very much looking forward to his well-deserved retirement and his wife certainly has a list of jobs for him. We want to wish him every happiness.
With Alastair’s departure however, we are very pleased to welcome the new member of our sales team, Angelo Mirto. Angelo has a history with CR Windows having worked as a fabricator in the factory man years ago. CR Windows certainly seems to be in his family as Angelo’s father used to also work for CR Windows as an installer for over fifteen years before retiring several years ago.
We all look forward to welcoming Angelo back into the ‘CR Windows family’
