Ready to design your dream door? Let’s begin!
(Please note that there could be fewer steps if certain options are not selected during the design process.)
Door Range
Let’s begin by choosing your starting base from our range of original composite doors. With 27 options available, you can customise the direction the door will open along with the panel positions and styles, to suit your preferences perfectly.
Door Design (Door)
Next, unleash your creativity by selecting your style of door: traditional, contemporary, or designer. Whilst using the app, you can take advantage of the full-screen view to envision your dream door in all its glory and explore the internal view to ensure every detail meets your expectations.
Cassette Type
At this stage, if you have chosen a door with glass detail, you may be asked to choose a cassette. This is a pre-fabricated frame that secures glass panels, enhancing both structure and aesthetics. Options include FLiP Standard, ideal for traditional styles, FLiP Flat Grain for contemporary designs and FLiP Stipple for a modern finish
Door Colour (External)
Now it’s time to add a splash of personality to your door with our wide range of colours. With hundreds of hues to choose from, your front door colour speaks volumes about your style and personality. Whether you opt for a bold statement or a subtle accent, our app has a shade to suit all tastes.
Door Colour (Internal)
Explore our extensive palette of hues to find the perfect internal door colour for your space. With hundreds of options available, you can match both sides of your door for a cohesive look, choose a colour that complements your existing decor, or opt for light shades to brighten smaller spaces. For impact, consider vibrant hues that inject personality and energy into your home.
Glass Design
Explore our diverse range of glass designs, offering an array of options to suit your preferences. From clear to obscure and geometric to patterned, our selection caters to every style. Elevate your entrance with the timeless elegance of traditional designs or make a bold statement with a contemporary look. For added character, consider stained glass options that add a touch of sophistication to your door.
Glass Decorative Unit
For stained glass designs, you may be asked to choose a glass decorative unit. This is a glass border around the pattern and you will be given colour choices to complement the glass design.
Cill
A door cill is a horizontal component at the bottom of a door frame. A cill acts as a barrier against weather elements such as rain, snow, and wind, preventing water and draughts from entering. It also provides structural support to the door frame for stability and durability and creates a smooth transition between the interior and exterior surfaces, allowing for easy passage and preventing tripping hazards.
Frame Colour (External)
Personalise your door further by choosing from our selection of popular colour options for the external frame. Alternatively, opt for a RAL colour, a standardised system widely used in Europe for colour matching. Each RAL colour is assigned a unique code, simplifying communication and ensuring consistency across industries, especially in architecture and manufacturing.
Frame Colour (Internal)
Customise the interior of your door by choosing from two classic options: white or anthracite grey. White frames create a clean and airy atmosphere, complementing a wide range of interior styles and visually expanding smaller spaces. Anthracite grey frames add depth and contrast, offering a modern and sophisticated look that pairs beautifully with bold colours and natural materials.
Threshold
A threshold is a horizontal component at the bottom of the door frame that helps weatherproof the door, provides structural support, and creates a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Choose from standard PVC for affordability and practicality, or gold or silver aluminium for added flair.
Drip Bar
Choosing a drip bar for your door involves selecting a horizontal component typically installed above the door to divert water away from the entrance. It prevents water penetration and protects the door and threshold from moisture damage.
White offers a neutral and timeless look that complements various door designs, silver or gold add sophistication and elegance, especially in a traditional setting or you can colour-match for a polished appearance.
You can choose not to install a drip bar if you prefer a minimalist look or if the door is located in a sheltered area where water diversion is less of a concern.
Hardware Colour
Selecting door hardware involves choosing the fittings and fixtures that operate and secure the door, including handles, locks, hinges, and knobs. These components enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the door. Choose from traditional white, contemporary black, classic chrome or add some pizzazz with metallics.
Handle
Choosing the right handle style for your front door can be the finishing touch, blending functionality with aesthetics.
Lever handles offer easy operation and enhanced accessibility whilst pad handles provide a classic look and decorative appeal. Or you can go without a handle for a sleek, minimalist appearance, ideal for modern entrances with alternative opening mechanisms.
Letterplate
A letterplate offers a convenient way to receive mail directly at your doorstep, providing a traditional and practical solution for mail delivery. Opting not to include a letterplate can produce a sleek and minimalist look to your front door. You can install a postbox or slot elsewhere on your property.
Letterplate Position
Deciding on the letterplate position impacts functionality and aesthetics. A central position offers balance and accessibility for post deliveries while maintaining door design cohesion. A lower position creates a distinctive feature and can complement the design of the door.
Knocker
A knocker can be the perfect finishing touch with a traditional or classic aesthetic. We also offer knockers with a built-in spyhole for added convenience.
Spyhole
Adding a spyhole provides an additional layer of security as you can discreetly view visitors before opening the door.
Numeral
Selecting numerals lets you personalise your door with house numbers and letters for identification purposes.
Numeral Input
This next stage allows you to input numbers and letters (in lower case only).
