In August, we made a donation to Deerhurst care home, which allowed them to make their on-site beach and garden a paradise once again.

Now that care home residents can have visits from family and friends again, we wanted to contribute towards making Deerhurst’s space a special place that the residents and their families could enjoy over the summer.

Our directors, Mark and Dean, visited the staff and residents at our local care home and presented them with £250. Our donation enabled the home to buy a new paddling pool, volleyball set, surf boards, beach balls, umbrellas and embark on a big beach clean up.

As a local business, supporting our community has always been our priority. During the pandemic we’ve been reminded how important community is and that’s why we wanted to support a local cause.

Deerhurst care home is a cause close to our hearts as Dean’s uncle once lived at the home and he knows first-hand how important donations are.

We had a great time visiting the residents and spending time at their beach!
